APCRD adopts a ‘permacultural approach’ to designing and implementing aid & development solutions.

Permaculture is a framework for sustainable design guided by a simple ethic of Earth Care, People Care and Resource Share.   This design science has been successfully adapted & applied to different cultures, climates, and conditions all over the world within the last 30 years or so, giving us not only a robust framework to operate from, but also an enormous base of practical, localized knowledge to continue to learn from and build upon.

Our approach to international aid & development solutions utilizes resources that are locally available, designs that are culturally appropriate &  and focuses on delivering positive impacts that are replicable beyond the scope of a project’s initial beneficiaries.
